Hello!
I have created a JCloze activity to
practice past simple verbs. I think this activity could be used in the third
grade of Primary; it depends on your school English level. You can use it in
higher grades in order to review this tense as well. They have a text with gaps
they have to fill in, and they have clues to help them. In the “?” button, they
will find the verb in its infinitive form. They are practicing grammar and
reading, because they have to read paying attention to choose the correct verb.
But I think this activity could be used for listening too. The teacher could
record the conversation and play it to the pupils, so they fill in the gaps
according to what they listen to in the audio.

See you!
Hi Raquel!
ResponderEliminarI have used a similar activity at class but I had the problem that the level is not that high. They are starting with the past at 6th of Primary now. Anyway, the idea of being able to do exercises on-line is always good for them.
See you!!!
Hello,
ResponderEliminarThis activity seems good to practice grammar skills. The idea of create a dialogue between two characters is quite good because it allows learners to improve their knowledge in a simulation of real situation.
I will propose you another activity to practice speaking. When students finish this worksheet, they could put in pairs in order to practice a dialogue between them.
Congratulations,
Magda
