Hello everybody!
We often practice Listening asking
questions about the recording or talking about it orally. Why don’t we change
this for once? The little ones love drawing! What do you think of make them draw
what they listen to?
Let’s see an example. You can use
this video with the first or the second grade of Primary. I have chosen a video
about farm animals. They have to draw what they listen to:
They can use a paper like this: Paper
If you think there are too many animals, you can tell them to choose some of them. You have to make pauses to give them enough time to do the drawing.
Bye!
Hi Raquel!
ResponderEliminarI'm glad you like my video, it's funny because the first video I saw was yours (the animals on the farm) but I didn't know what could I do with it, because I learn that it's not good to teach our pupils with the animal's sounds, maybe they think different now, anyway, I think you have done a very great job.
I have saw all your blog and I found a lot of things interesting, I am just starting with mine.
Best regards, Vicente.
Hi Raquel
ResponderEliminarThis is a very motivating activity and while the students are drawing, they are developing their creativity.
Rachel, I love this task. Kids never expect a dictation to be cool and this way they'll love it. Good job!
